The Rite Aid Trip SCORE!

Pictured is what I paid $9.90 out the door for. I did the buy Scope get Crest deal 2 times so that I could not only use the $1/1 Scope, but the $1/2 Crest coupon as well. I only had one Herbal Essence BOGstyler, but I was actually in NEED of conditioner....all I can figure is that I must have picked up shampoo the last few times cause I thought I was good on conditioner, but was wrong!!

I used the $4/$20 SQ from my Coupons.com sidebar and handed it to the cashier first. Then gave her the MQ's in my pile. Everything took without error! Now that Rite Aid has their coupon policy updated and obviously in place, it could quickly become one of my favorite stops.

Last but not least about this trip: I'm gettting $3.99 back in rebates!! $2.99 for the toothbrush and $1 for the toothpaste (according to the sign in front of it!!)

YIPPEE!!

Baking/Cooking Day: Mission Complete

Well, I made a few additions to the list and never got to the French Toast today. I did have a very successful day in the kitchen and should not have to do any major cooking for almost a month again.

Here is part of the 4 dozen cookies:

This is the Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken just before I served it up for dinner:

And one of the individual portions of Chicken with Peppers/Onion/Rice:

All said and done, this is what I ended with:
4 Dozen Cookies
1 Layer Cake
2 Loaves Banana Bread
1 Dozen Banana Muffins
3 Dozen Banana Oat Pancakes
9 Individual Chicken/Pepper Meals
3 Individual Buttered Rice Portions
2 Lasanga Roll Meals
9 Bags of Cooked Hamburger
1 Dozen Hard Boiled Eggs
1# Cut Carrots
Long day, but fun!

Baking/Cooking Day: Here I Go Again!

I'm bbbbbbaaaaaaaccccccckkkkkkkk!!!

Pancakes are in the works:

Started the Chicken and Peppers. I waited until it was mostly cooked before taking the picture!! I also have 6 cups of instant rice prepared. It will go as a base below the chicken/peppers. What I don't use with that will just become buttered rice to take to work with me:

Lasanga Rolls are packaged, marked and in the freezer:

Did a double batch of Banana Bread Dough and had enough for 2 loaves and 12 muffins:

I'm also in the process of the sauce for the Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken.

I PROMISE I will get to more details of the dishes later....if you want them (???).

Back to the stove!

These will later be ready to drop into spaghetti and Hamburger Helper or to be turned into any number of things later! I've also mixed up the batter for the Banana Bread and Pancakes. They are in the fridge waiting for my return.

Baking/Cooking Day: In the beginning.......

I haven't taken any pictures because there isn't much to show at this time. Let's just leave it be that I'm adding a few things due to excitment!

I had to run out this morning for a few things and to hit the Thrify Outlet (NW GR). There will be more on that later!

So, after a browse through Walmart, zip in and out of Walgreens, quick stop at Dollar Tree and a very successful trip to Rite Aid (oh, did I mention the 1/2 hour of cardio and shower at the gym?), I am READY to go.

Planned:

Banana Oat Pancakes (I'm using the same recipe as the Apple Oat Pancakes, but subbing bananas.

Banana Bread (This is on a recipe card I've had for years)
Cake (Layer) - Out of a box and frosting out of a can (gotta use up those deal items!)

French Toast

Hard Boiled Eggs (and Egg Salad)

Cookies (from package)

Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken

Chicken with Peppers/Onions/Rice

Lasanga (Thanks to the 5# of Hamburger I found for $6.25 at Walmart this morning!)

I'm also going to cut up a bag of carrots that I purchased.

I know that at least 1 and maybe 2 people are playing along this afternoon. (Hi Kathy and Wendy!) And if you are too, please feel free to post your progress.
